Most couples reach out when they are exhausted. You might be having the exact same argument you have had for years, just with different details. There may be things you have never talked about – pain, fear, and misunderstandings that keep showing up in different ways. Or the arguing might have stopped entirely, replaced by heavy, quiet distance.
When you are stuck in this loop, it is common to hope the therapist will act as a referee. You want someone to listen to the history, assess the situation, and finally tell the other person they are wrong.
But winning an argument does not repair a connection. Figuring out who was “right” about what happened rarely changes how you feel.
What’s Different Here
Our role is different. We do not take sides, decide who is right, or force you to agree on the facts of what happened. Instead, we help you look at the pattern you are both caught in.
Two completely different experiences of the same events are allowed to exist in the same room. You do not have to agree on exactly how something happened to understand why the other person responds the way they do. This shift, moving from fighting about facts to noticing the pattern, changes the focus of the conversation.
When you stop needing to win the argument, it becomes easier to hear what is actually driving the other person. You can look at their logic, even when you disagree with how they interpret things. The goal is not forced agreement. The goal is creating enough space for both of you to actually listen.

FOUNDER & REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST
Hello, I’m Shubhangi
I believe the relationships around us are where a lot of the real work happens. Over fifteen years in mental health, I kept seeing people try to work through what was hurting them on their own, when so much of it lived in the space between them and the people they loved. That space is where I wanted to work.
I am someone who feels deeply, and my own relationships have their ups and downs like everyone else’s. I know what it is like to need someone to sit alongside you without trying to solve it. So I don’t come in as an expert with your relationship figured out. I come in as a fellow human, holding both of your perspectives as valid, even when they contradict each other.
